1. Who is responsible for your data
Atham Event Management is responsible for personal data collected through this website. Our service operations are based in Kerala, India. Privacy and grievance requests may be sent using the contact details in section 13.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Your name, phone or WhatsApp number, and email address.
- Requested services, event type, tentative date, city or venue, guest or planning details, preferences, and messages you submit.
- Information you choose to share by email, telephone, WhatsApp, social media, or during a consultation.
Technical information
Our hosting and security providers may automatically record limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referral URL, timestamps, and server error or security logs. We do not use the website to collect payment-card details or government identification numbers. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the enquiry form unless we specifically request it and explain why it is needed.
3. How and why we use information
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange consultations.
- To understand event requirements and prepare proposals, estimates, schedules, or service recommendations.
- To communicate about requested services and, if you become a client, perform our agreement.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and enquiry process.
- To prevent spam, fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- To comply with applicable law, resolve disputes, and protect legal rights.
Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal or information we must retain for a legal obligation or an existing contract.
4. Enquiry form and consent
Submitting the enquiry form authorizes us to use the submitted details to contact you about that enquiry. The form is delivered through FormSubmit, a third-party form-processing provider. Form submissions may therefore be processed on FormSubmit’s systems before being delivered to our email account. Do not submit the form if you do not agree to this processing; you may instead contact us by telephone.
5. When we share information
We may share only what is reasonably necessary with:
- Website hosting, email, form-processing, communications, security, and IT service providers acting for us.
- Venues, caterers, decorators, photographers, transport providers, artists, production teams, or other event partners when needed to evaluate or deliver services you request.
- Professional advisers, insurers, auditors, authorities, courts, or law-enforcement bodies where reasonably necessary or legally required.
- A successor in connection with a genuine business restructuring, subject to appropriate confidentiality and lawful processing.
We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not disclose enquiry information to unrelated advertisers for their independent marketing.
6. Cookies, fonts and third-party links
This version of the website does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies. It uses Google Fonts, so a visitor’s browser may connect to Google’s servers to download font files and may transmit ordinary network information such as an IP address and browser details.
Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, FormSubmit, Google services, and other third-party sites are governed by those providers’ own privacy practices. Opening those services may allow them to collect information or place cookies. Atham Events does not control their independent processing.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including responding to an enquiry, providing contracted services, maintaining business and tax records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. When information is no longer required, we will delete, anonymise, or securely isolate it, subject to reasonable backup cycles and applicable law.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. However, no internet transmission, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use care when deciding what to send online.
9. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about our processing of your personal data, access it, correct inaccurate or incomplete information, request erasure, withdraw consent, raise a grievance, or nominate another person to exercise applicable rights in the event of death or incapacity.
Send requests to info@athamevents.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the scope of the request. If you withdraw consent to an active enquiry, we will stop consent-based processing unless another lawful reason requires limited continued processing.
10. Children’s data
The website is intended for adults arranging events and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek personal data directly from anyone under 18 through the website. A parent or lawful guardian who believes a child has submitted information should contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. Processing outside India
Some technology or communications providers may process information on servers outside India. Where this occurs, we will handle the information in accordance with applicable Indian law and any transfer restrictions that apply.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the website, our practices, service providers, or applicable law. The effective date at the top will identify the current version. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable manner where required.
