1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. If you submit information for another person or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
2. Website purpose
The website provides general information about wedding planning, event management, stage decoration, venue coordination, catering, hospitality, logistics, photography, videography, styling, and related services. Website content is not a binding quotation, guarantee, professional advice, or promise that a particular service, vendor, design, venue, date, or price is available.
3. Enquiries and bookings
- An online form, email, telephone call, WhatsApp message, or social-media message is an enquiry only.
- A date is not reserved until Atham Events confirms availability in writing and any required agreement and advance payment are completed.
- Proposals and estimates may depend on event location, guest count, venue rules, design complexity, supplier availability, taxes, travel, permissions, and other requirements.
- If you proceed, the written proposal or service agreement will govern the booking. If that agreement conflicts with these website terms on a service-specific issue, the signed service agreement will control that issue.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information; obtain authority before sharing another person’s details; promptly communicate material changes; and use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt the website, introduce malicious code, access restricted systems, scrape content at scale, impersonate another person, submit spam, or use website materials in a way that infringes rights.
5. Prices, payments, changes and cancellations
The website does not process payments and does not publish a universally binding price list. Fees, taxes, payment schedules, deposits, cancellation charges, postponement terms, refund eligibility, change requests, overtime, force-majeure arrangements, and vendor commitments will be stated in the applicable written proposal or service agreement. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
6. Third-party venues and suppliers
Events may involve independent venues, caterers, artists, photographers, transport providers, accommodation providers, technology platforms, or other suppliers. Their availability, rules, terms, safety requirements, licences, and performance may be outside our direct control unless the written service agreement expressly states otherwise. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not make Atham Events responsible for their content, security, availability, or independent practices.
7. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website’s branding, logo, text, layout, graphics, designs, code, photographs, videos, and other content are owned by or licensed to Atham Events and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view the website and share links for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, publish, sell, modify, remove credits from, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder.
Images may depict work involving clients, venues, or collaborating vendors. Their appearance on the website does not grant permission for reuse.
8. Reviews and submitted material
If you voluntarily provide a review, testimonial, event image, or other material for publication, any right to publish it will be governed by the permission or agreement obtained from you. You confirm that material you submit does not infringe another person’s rights and that you have the authority to provide it. Merely sending an enquiry does not give us permission to publish your personal details or event photographs.
9. Website availability and disclaimers
We aim to keep website information accurate and the service available, but content may occasionally be incomplete, outdated, or affected by technical issues. To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, error-free content, or suitability for a particular event requirement. Please verify important details directly with our team before relying on them.
10. Responsibility for loss
Atham Events does not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including responsibility arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, or any mandatory consumer protection. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from use of, inability to use, or reliance on this informational website. Responsibility relating to paid event services will be determined by the applicable written service agreement and law.
11. Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains how website and enquiry data is handled. When you submit an enquiry, you authorize communications reasonably connected with that request through the contact methods you provide. You may ask us to stop optional follow-up messages, although we may still send communications needed for an active booking, legal obligation, or requested transaction.
12. Changes to the website or terms
We may update the website and these terms to reflect changes in services, technology, business practices, or law. The effective date identifies the current version. Changes apply from publication and do not retroactively replace the terms of an already signed service agreement.
13. Governing law and disputes
These website terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or other jurisdiction that applies, disputes relating solely to these website terms will be submitted to the competent courts in Kerala, India. Before starting formal proceedings, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve the issue through direct written communication.
14. General provisions
If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining terms will continue. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. These website terms do not create a partnership, agency, employment, or joint venture between you and Atham Events.
